EE students win second place in SURE poster competitoin

Congratulations to Joshua Hyde and Melissa Sinclair for winning the 2nd place in the UNT annual Showcase of Undergraduate Research in Engineering (SURE) poster competition on November 10th, 2017. Both of them are working as Undergraduate Research Fellows at Integrated Biomedical Circuits and Systems Lab with Dr. Mahbub. Their research poster was titled "Miniaturized Antenna Design for Wireless Power Transfer to Implantable and Wearable Sensors". The project involves the design, simulation, and measurement of the mm-sized antennas printed on FR4 board for transferring power wirelessly to wearable and implantable sensors for freely-moving animals. Currently, Joshua is a Junior in the Electrical Engineering Department and planning to graduate in December 2018. Melissa is a Senior in the Electrical Engineering Department, who will be graduating in December 2017 and starting her MS. under Dr. Mahbub's supervision.
